Recorded live on March 16th, 2008 during our workshops in Brazil, listen to Ralph Miller lecture about the intelligence of nature and the origins of language.
"Ayahuasca activates the language centers in human consciousness. There is an ancient mystical Greek philosophy called the Logos. The Logos was 'the word'. Through the Logos, all things that came into being were made. The Greek mystics felt that there was a language that existed beyond three dimensional, temporal human language. That it would be a four or five dimensional language that can call into existence all that is."
"It is important to have an awareness that this is a sentient intelligence. It is the port that human beings can plug into to interface with the intelligence of nature."
"It's quite likely that in the early stages into our lives we were existing in a state where our brains and our neurochemistry were bathed in these transcendent molecules. I am fascinated with some of the writing and studies that a Swiss psychologist names Jean Piaget did on infant brain development. Just after childbirth, everything that is happening for the baby is experienced as its world and it has not made a differentiation between itself and something other than itself."
"Aluna is another world that is a part of our world that we don't have a perspective with. It exists outside of temporal time and the reality that we experience. Events that are happening in the past, events that are happening now and events that are in the future are all existing simultaneously."

Recorded live on September 2nd, 2007 during our workshops in Brazil, listen to a lecture by Ralph Miller about approaching our own individual Destiny.
Each of us look at the circumstances that brought us here and the desire to approach our own individual destiny. We agree to put one foot in front of the other towards something that we are completely ill prepared for. Our destiny is unavoidable. Our egos take great comfort in the belief that we have choice in the decisions that we make. But free will is ultimately not reconcilable with Destiny. Destiny is a place and a point where you will be without option. It is because of your own design and your own desire that you create your Destiny.
The Ayahuasca medicine is like a crossroads between the natural world and human beings. It is an encounter with an intelligence that is far older than human intelligence. The origin of who we are is embedded in a symbiosis with nature. Perhaps you are here because the plant decided to partake in you. The plant decided that it wanted to drink you.
It makes you feel the awesome nature of the Destiny that you are involved in. There is nothing that is out of reach for the interaction between this plant and human consciousness. As we approach this ceremony, I would invite you all to have an anticipation and a respect for the Destiny that each of you created in your own life to be here in this place today.
New Live Lecture by Shaman Warinei Wanare!

Recorded live on April 2nd, 2007, in Brazil, listen to a lecture by Shaman Warinei Wanare about being grateful from our hearts. In this talk, Warinei reminds us that when we point our finger at others, three of our fingers are pointing at ourselves.

Always be grateful from you heart. It is one thing to be grateful from words, but it is another thing to be grateful from our hearts. To be grateful from our hearts we have to have a clean heart. We have to review our mistakes to remove them so the ancestral word can be born from this space, the world that comes from the origin. When you are being grateful or are giving thanks, that means that you are living together with the sacredness, or living in the sacredness. Because to live in the sacredness doesn't mean that you are above or below the rest of the people. You are just giving the respect that each person deserves. The respect that each animal, each living being deserves in the earth. That's a way of living sacredly.

A lecture by Ralph Miller given to a group of new arrivals today, March 20th, 2007! on the morning of the first Ayahuasca ceremony.

"We are all here in a desire to explore a shamanic path, an experience with shamanism. By shamanism, specifically in a shamanic ceremony, we will be ingesting a shamanic plant medicine that has been used for thousands of years in indigenous cultures to bring us to a place of consciousness beyond what our normal daily awake experience is.The recommendations that many of you have read about or heard about have to do with this concept of "letting go" as you enter into this shamanic ceremony. In many ways, the shamanic path has to do with letting go, it's a relaxing to a potential within yourself that you are not accustomed to, that you have not experienced in your day to day life."
A lecture by Ralph Miller from the second week of our March 2007 Ayahuasca workshops in Brazil.

"On some level, many of us may make the choice to come to this plant as a conscious choice that has to do with our own life path, to be awake rather than asleep, to disengage from a repetitious life and come into a fuller expression of who we are. It may be an individual agenda to enhance our own life. There may be others of us who come to a place in our lives where this medicine is a sort of last resort to be of service to ourselves and humans and serve a higher consciousness in the collective. In the illusionary scheme of things, our decision to come to this plant has much to do with ourselves and little to do with the plant. People think, "I am going to go to Brazil and I am going to take this plant". However, many of you may have also experienced what I am about to say through some sort of strange synchronicities that you may have chalked up to be just "coincidences". But in a way that defies cause and effect, there is an intelligence in this plant that on some level, while we think we are deciding to come and drink the plant, on another level the plant is choosing us to come here so that she can drink of us.
This has to do with the idea of a plant-human intervention..."
A lecture by Shaman Warinei Wanare from our March 2007 Ayahuasca workshops in Brazil.
The only way to learn is to be awake in every moment of your life. In every decision that you make, watch to see if you are actively living in that very moment. This will be your guard from the 'sicknesses' that you face as you walk on the shamanic path.
The lecture mentions these sicknesses, and how to avoid being affected by them.
"Everything is a shamanic act. The plants, like the elders say, are the key that allow us to know ourselves a little more. When we are taking this plant into ourselves we are opening this key so we can have access to other dimensions to learn how to act in this one, and to act in this reality to put into practice what we have learned from these plants. It doesn't make any sense to go and visit other realities if we don't put into practice in this dimension what we have learned.
The most important this is to have an impeccable attitude. The heart of the human being is so vulnerable that we need these plants to know how to act. They allow us to be awake. If we are really awake, we are experiencing life in every moment. But if we just get lost in the daily life, a lot of problems start and we start to struggle in our outlook on life and the path we are walking."

The only thing that the plants would want us to do is just to stop and listen. To actually show up for our lives. Your life changes after experiencing these sacred plants because you have turned on a brain function, you've turned on a perception that you didn't have before. There is a biological switch that is flipped.

Recorded live from our June 2006 workshops in Brazil, listen to Ralph Miller talk about the movement of westerners seeking alternatives to today's ego based society in the ancient wisdom of the plants.
